Michael Donovan brings his Spice SE88
Michael Donovan will be joining Group C for the majority of the season in a Spice SE88.
This Spice successfully ran at Le Mans in 1988/89/90, winning C2 at the first attempt and finishing 2nd and 3rd in the following years. Since then the car has raced occasionally the last time being in 1990 before being fully rebuilt this winter to original C2 spec.
Donovan’s own racing career started as a teenager in Modsports in the 70's, Clubmans in the early '80's and then Formula 3 with a Ralt in '86 and '87.
After a 20 year gap (having moved to the US) Donovan returned to racing in 2007 with a 997 GT3 in Dutch Supercar, followed by GT Cup, Belcar and ADAC Masters.
Michael will also bring his preparer Peter Chambers Automotive to Group C this year.
