ALD-BMW

Chassis #06

This ALD (Automobiles Louis Descartes), is the only surviving car of the little french driver and constructor of Le Mans Prototypes, who, between 1985 and 1991, built 8 cars, 6 aluminium and two carbon chassis.

This is the last aluminium chassis (# 6 over 6 built), built on 1989, with BMW 3.5 L6 Engine, which was in Le Mans on 1989 (did not qualified), Dijon and SPA (finishing 22th), and then at Le Mans 1994, with the race n. 7, with Boulay/Robin/Lacaud, retired after 14 hours.

The car is with the original livery designed by “Athenee”.
