AMR-1 (N° 5) is the last works Aston Martin which challenged for the World Sportscar Championship in 1989. Principally driven by David Leslie it achieved 4th at Brands Hatch and 7th overall in the championship. Engine originally developed by Richard Williams (670 bhp)and aerodynamics by Ray Mallock.
